Acorn Businees Coaching (ABC) was formed in 1995 to continue what I had been doing at Acorn Structures. As President I realized that the job required few (but critical) decisions and that mostly I oiled the interpersonal machinery of the various departments and individuals and also worked with individuals to improve their operating skills for benefit of the company.
Over the years since then I have been engaged in a number of assignments. My predilection toward action has meant that I have become more of a player/coach rather than just coaching. For example, I worked as President of a startup modular housing factory, worked the various accounting functions of a leasing company and ran the audit schedule of a HUD financed apartment project.
